Mit ihrem neuen Album Dreams On Toast melden sich die britischen Rock-Ikonen The Darkness zurück und gehen auf grosse Tour! Am Montag, 13. Oktober 2025 statten sie dem Komplex 457 einen Besuch ab.

The Darkness; düster, grossartig. Wie die mächtige Kondormutter, die auf einem Rock-Ei in einem Nest aus lockigem Haar an der Seite eines mächtigen Berges sitzt. Nach 4-jähriger Brützeit schlüpft aus genau diesem Rock-Ei Ende März 2025 das achte Studio-Album von Justin Hawkins & Co Dreams On Toast! 10 Songs, die alle nur so vor Hit-Charakter strotzen, vollgepackt mit allem, was The Darkness so unverzichtbar macht – Upbeat 70s Pop-Elemente, ausgelassene Gitarren-Riffs und schwungvolle Piano-Licks.

«You know that thing when God’s breath tickles your soul and tells you to create? Yeah, makes me giggle too. But you can’t resist,» sagt Hawkins. «God might not be the power she once was, but say what you like about her, she knows damn well that what the world needs now, is rock sweet rock. And who are we, mere mortals of extraordinary ability, to argue with the divine?»
